Shaped on-chain governance, token distribution decisions and external partnerships that affected protocol adoption and token demand

Led the establishment and operational design of UMA's governance processes, crafting on-chain voting mechanics, proposal workflows, and token-economic levers that determine how protocol upgrades and collateral modules are approved. Specific actions included authoring governance proposals for token distribution, treasury spending, and the framework for incentivizing third-party developers to build on UMA. Directed partnership outreach and integration agreements that brought external liquidity and developers to the protocol, negotiating technical collaboration terms and coordinating cross-project governance votes where needed. Those partnership arrangements often included concrete proposals passed through UMADAO and adjustments to incentive schedules tied to token grants and developer rewards. Managed public communication of governance outcomes and coordinated audits and legal reviews for major protocol changes. By formalizing vote processes and treasury policies and by sponsoring grants and integrations, these administrative and policy-level steps materially altered the demand drivers and utility case for the UMA token, connecting institutional flows and community incentives to on-chain token economics.
