Aiman Ezzat has served as CEO of Capgemini since May 2020, leading the largest IT services and consulting firm in Europe and one of the world's top five by revenue. Born in Egypt and educated in France (Ecole Centrale Paris, HEC), Ezzat spent over 20 years at Capgemini before becoming CEO, previously serving as CFO and leading the company's cloud and digital transformation practice. Under Ezzat's leadership, Capgemini has executed a strategic transformation from traditional IT outsourcing toward higher-value digital services. He has positioned the company around three growth pillars: Intelligent Industry (combining IoT, digital twins, and AI for manufacturing and engineering), Cloud & Data (large-scale enterprise cloud migration), and Generative AI services. The company invested heavily in AI capabilities, training tens of thousands of consultants in generative AI tools and building industry-specific AI solutions. Ezzat navigated Capgemini through the post-COVID IT spending surge and the subsequent normalization, maintaining margin expansion even as clients became more cautious about discretionary spending. His decisions on offshore-onshore delivery mix, AI practice investment levels, acquisition strategy in specialized digital capabilities, and pricing discipline in competitive IT services markets are the primary drivers of Capgemini's valuation. His ability to maintain Capgemini's position as a top-three player in the generative AI consulting wave — competing against Accenture, TCS, and Infosys — will define his tenure.
